Proceeds Benefit WomenCARE, GEMMA and other women's services in Santa Cruz County.

Come help us build on last year's success. Thanks to 40 entries and a very spirited live auction, we raised over $3500, which we distributed among WomenCARE, GEMMA and other local service projects.

What Is "Bras for a Cause"?
"Bras for a Cause" is a fundraiser sponsored by our club. It consists of a contest and an auction. Being a part of "Bras for a Cause" is simple! For a $25.00 donation, any individual or group creates and/or decorates a bra that will be entered into the competition and auctioned off at the "Bras for a Cause" Gala on April 28, 2007. Your entry will include a ticket to the Gala. Donated bras can be made in honor of or in memory of an individual or group. Décor can be as extravagant or simple as you'd like. Anything goes!

What is the "Bras for a Cause" Gala?
On April 28, 2007 at 4pm, a gallery viewing of all the donated works of art will be on display. Winners will be announced. The top three winners will each receive a trophy-plus some great additional prizes. Guests will enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres as they place silent bids on the decorated bras. A live auction for bras will also be featured.
