SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL of CARMEL BAY FUNDRAISERS

Soroptimist International of Carmel Bay has established a strategic partnership with a huge local event, the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. In this partnership, the Pro-Am committee organizes the main event, and our club members provide manpower for one aspect of it, specifically, the Tee-Off party. Our members are the hostesses, greeters, and ushers at this big kick-off party arranged to thank the many volunteers for all their hard work at the golf event which begins the following day. For this one evening’s work, the AT&T committee shares with us $4,500 of the millions they raise through this celebrity-studded benefit. We agree, of course, to return the money to the community. We have a few former members to thank for inviting us to participate in this very special event each year, proving that once a Soroptimist, always a Soroptimist.
