SOS Day was a terrific success in District II. Our project was "Renew the Zoo". There were 89 volunteers from our District, which included Soroptimists, families, friends and S club members.

We worked with the Horticulture Department of the San Francisco Zoo in activities of conservation and preservation. Our work consisted of weeding, mulching, planting or moving items to beautify the animal grottos.

Several of the attendees had the red Soroptimist Tee Shirts and after our work was finished we enjoyed lunch donated by the SF Zoo. We could spend the rest of the day at the Zoo at their expense. A great day! Here's some snapshots for your enjoyment:
