Saturday of Service 2005
Saturday of Service Day this year was on a Sunday for the Soroptimist International Los Gatos-Saratoga club. We decided that we would like to help Tsunami victims and extend our time and money to *Promise Worldwide in their efforts to help in India. We obtained a booth at the Farmers Market in Los Gatos. We received donated foods from Marin Foods; SI member Shari Khasrovi-Panahi was instrumental in this, and we sold the food for 100 percent profit of $500+. All this money went to Promise Worldwide.
