SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL of SANTA CLARA
JOINT SERVICE AWARDS DINNER
Co-Hosted with SI Silicon Valley

May 9th brought together over 100 Soroptimists, award winners, and guests to the Professional Culinary Institute of Campbell to celebrate and recognize the great progress and work of local women. Soroptimist Governor, Jo Ann Vear and Regional Director, Loretta Fornaciari were in attendance congratulating all awardees.

Over $20,000 in program awards and individual scholarships were given out to eight programs that serve women and girls and 10 individual winners of the Women's Opportunity Award, Violet Richardson Award, or Making a Difference for Women Award or academic scholarships based on community service.

We also invited all of the female mayors in our county and some local media women. Many did attend, so along with recognizing good organizations and worthy individuals we helped local female leaders to understand Soroptimist International at a deeper level.
