VALLEY SPRING YOUTH CENTER

The Valley Springs Youth Center President, Marti Crane, Executive Director, Joyce Swinghammer and youth representative, Taylor Mossa, received a check from SICC club member, Julie Moore, in the amount of $3,5000, which will be used for hiring a Center Assistant, cleaning staff and to purchase office supplies. The Valley Springs Youth Center provides age-appropriate education programs for children 11–17, aimed at building self-esteem, particularly critical for the many latch-key and foster children it serves. “It’s great that kids can be a part of our community and give back,” said Marti Crane.
