Soroptimist International of Lodi presents Major Frank Severs and the Salvation Army with a $1,000 check for the Hope Harbor Family Service Center, Women & Children's Shelter.

Diede Construction has been doing major remodeling on the new social service facility for about two months with hopes to finish the project so "The Army" can move in September, 2004. The Soroptimist's generous $1,000 check will help cover the additional $200,000 a year of additional expenses that the Hope Harbor Family Service Center will add to the current Salvation Army budget.
