SYBIL CROOKHAM PAST PRESIDENT’S AWARD

To be given once every three years at the Past President’s Tea with first award given in 2000–2001.

GUIDELINES
1. The past president to have been a member of Soroptimist International of Atwater for ten (10) years or more.
2. To give of his/her time and talents in support of Soroptimism.
3. To have actively served in Club leadership by serving on committees, as an officer, etc.
4. To be recognized for contributions and service as an officer and with the Club projects.
5. Finds joy in a job well done, both in Club affairs and business dealings.
6. Is a sincere person, a friend at all times.
7. Recognized in and lends dignity to his/her chosen profession, above and beyond work responsibilities.
8. Involves him/herself in civic and community projects, thus making a better community and country.

STELLA BLOUIN LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP

Soroptimist International of Atwater is the recipient of many generous gifts in memory of Stella Blouin. To honor her, we have established the Stella Blouin Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded annually based on budget availability. The scholarship committee will be responsible for promoting the award, seeking qualified applicants, reviewing the applications and selecting a candidate.

This award will honor a woman who exemplifies the strong moral character of Stella Blouin. The awardee shall be a woman who is continuing her education while pursuing a career path. This scholarship is designed to provide assistance to women who are seeking to improve their employment status by gaining additional education and skills.

The Stella Blouin Legacy Scholarship seeks to reward females who uphold the integrity of their profession by expanding and developing the necessary skill sets to enhance their career. This award will provide assistance to women for costs such as tuition, books, transportation, childcare and other expenses associated with obtaining an education.
