SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL of TURLOCK FUNDRAISERS

SI Turlock’s most successful fundraiser was the Softball Tournament for the Turlock High School softball team. The money earned goes directly to the Turlock High School softball club for uniforms, equipment, and additional tournaments. This year we improved the profit by $300 and earned a total of $2,800 dollars for the girls!

Soroptimist International members produce the program, sell ads for the program along with the girls, and man the gates to collect money on Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday. In addition, one member donates the trophies and many others supply the officials with sandwiches, cookies, cakes, snacks, fruit, coffee, and cold drinks for both days. This fundraisers allows all members to contribute in a way that is comfortable for them. Watching the tournament is not only fun but also rewarding as we see many young women enjoy the two-day event and have so much fun with their teammates!
