SI Delano has an annual Golf Tournament usually held in April. Approximately 72 players participate, paying $27.00 entry fee. Green fees and golf carts are not included and must be paid to the golf course. The players may also purchase a single Mulligan for $5.00 and Raffle Tickets (6 for $5.00) For the entry fee, the players receive a goody bag plus a free lunch, at which time we hold a raffle for prizes donated by members and the public. The winners of the tournament are paid cash prizes for Men’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place as well as a Women’s 1st Place. Also the Longest Drive and Closest to the Hole. We also solicit Hole Sponsorships from $25 – to $500. A Hole-in-One prize is provided (a vehicle) plus 2 other Hole-in-One prizes all donated by a local car dealer. The tournament usually nets the club $4,000.

Other Fund Raisers:

• Cow Pasture Bingo held in October in conjunction with the Harvest Holidays Celebration. A grid is drawn on the ground within a pen. A steer is place in the pen and when nature calls, the purchases of that square wins $1,000. Tickets for the squares are sold for $10.00 each, only 300 tickets are sold. The steer and pen are donated, usually by the family of the Champion Steer.
• Live Auction - all items are donated by members and the public.
• Fashion Show - models are S Club members and other young men and women.
