SECRETARY SHERRY PEARSON

I have been a member of Soroptimist International of Los Banos since 1995. My employer suggested that I join our local Soroptimist club. I took his advice, & my membership in Soroptimist, has been one of the best experiences of my life! I started serving on my local club Board right away, held all offices & served as Club President for the 1999-2000 club year.

I had such a great time serving as Club President, that I gladly accepted the position as the Mary Ellen George Chairman for the Sierra Pacific Region for 2 consecutive terms(4 years). After that, I was elected as District Director for District IV. This was a fabulous experience, getting to know so many wonderful women & learning a lot about Soroptimist, along the way. I enjoyed the experience so much, that I wanted to continue serving Soroptimist on the Region Board-level. That is why I decided to run for the position of Secretary on our Sierra Pacific Region Board. Thank you so much for electing me to this position, I am proud to serve our Soroptimist organization. Working together we can truly "Improve the Lives of Women & Girls in Local Communities & Throughout the World!"
