Help with Adobe Acrobat Reader

Our SPR website now contains many links to .pdf files. PDF is short for "portable document format". Basically it allows you to open and view (or print) a file that "looks" like the original format.

You will need Acrobat Reader to open and print the files which are presented in .pdf format. You may download Acrobat Reader FREE by clicking on the link in the lower right navigation bar.

Some browsers may require a few extra steps to access the .pdf files so be patient. It's well worth the extra effort! If you have downloaded Acrobat Reader and clicked on the “file name” that you wish to open, but it did not open, please do the following:

• Right click the “file name”
• Left click on “Save Target As”
  
• Choose where you want to save the file. If you wish to save it on your desktop for easy access, browse to desktop and save the “file name” to the desktop.
• You will be given an option to open the file. Click “open”. The file will open and you will have the option to read it or print it.

Some systems may require you to open Acrobat Reader first. If you need assistance with this, please do not hesitate to contact the Tech Team. We’re here to help.
