Our Amazing Tech Team

The Governor’s Award is not presented often and this year’s winner is very special because they have made my life easier as well as every single member in the Sierra Pacific Region. Their accomplishments are vast and no problem too great. I am honored that they accepted my offer to work with me this biennium.

The position of Webmaster took on a different challenge when three exceptional ladies joined together this biennium and created the Sierra Pacific Region Tech Team. The main goal was to create a website that fit the standards laid out by Soroptimist International of the Americas.

After agreeing on their strategy they divided their goals into three different areas each lady taking the part that challenged their creative skills.

Lori Kohn established links and email addresses for committee chairmen, club presidents and region board. This has made it easier to contact one or several recipients at a time. Our new email contact save time and energy. Lori’s mission Teach Every Club How To Eat, drink, And be Merry!

Linda Deeter has the responsibility to format and upload the information that is sent to the Tech Team by clubs, chairmen, and the Region Board Members. Linda’s mission statement displays her “artistic” creativity: Teach Every Club How To Enjoy Art More.

Merry Bilgere took on the role of building the website and formatting a structure that could be followed throughout the many pages. Merry is definitely the “High-Tech Goddess” of our world. Her mission statement reflects both her business and profession, Teach Every Club How To Execute Advertising and Marketing.

In less than one year the Tech Team for the Sierra Pacific Region has provided us with a vision of tomorrow on the Internet today.
